CLEAN FOODS, CLEAR BENEFITS

Woman with spice

We started Boring Foods because we believe in the quiet power of ingredients your grandmother swears by: haldi, black pepper, ginger. The basic, overlooked stuff that actually works.

However, these ingredients only unlock their full health potential when they’re sourced and processed right, and that’s where we come in.

We carefully source them, skip the middlemen, test for purity and potency, and tell you exactly what’s inside.

And, we’re called Boring because there’s nothing added — no gimmicks, no shortcuts. Just clean, potent ingredients that do what they should.

Lakadong Turmeric Powder

Our turmeric is sourced fresh from Muleih, a small village in East Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya, a region that produces some of the most potent turmeric across the world. Turmeric from this region naturally contains 8–12% curcumin, the powerful compound behind its health benefits. That’s a sharp contrast to most market turmeric, which contains just 1–3%.

We add just a tiny pinch of black pepper to boost curcumin absorption—enough to enhance bioavailability, not change the taste.

It’s grown by smallholder families, led by women, who’ve been farming without chemical inputs for generations. We’re proud to support this community and work directly with them to bring you turmeric that’s not just potent, but responsibly grown.
